Rillaboom V SV105/122 · Shining Fates Shiny Vault

Rillaboom is Pokédex #812, generation 8 (Galar). Rillaboom V is a Basic V Grass Pokémon with 220 HP.

Rillaboom V sits at SV105/122 in Shining Fates Shiny Vault, position 105 of 122. Before it is SV104 Dubwool, and after it is SV106 Rillaboom VMAX. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 19, 2021. The printed size is 122, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo V.

The attack Forest Feast lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Grass Pokémon and put them onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck. Wood Hammer is another attack lists 220 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Grass, Colorless. This Pokémon also does 30 damage to itself. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is D.

Rillaboom (#812) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2024. The earliest other card is Rillaboom SWSH006/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Rillaboom, while this one is Rillaboom V. That card lists 170 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo V. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Rillaboom list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Shining Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Rillaboom can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Galar starters. I still need this card.
