Honchkrow V 161/172 · Brilliant Stars

Honchkrow is Pokédex #430, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Honchkrow V is a Basic V Darkness Pokémon with 200 HP.

Honchkrow V sits at 161/172 in Brilliant Stars, position 161 of 186. Before it is 160 Whimsicott V, and after it is 162 Honchkrow V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 25, 2022. The printed size is 172. This checklist is longer, at 186 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Boss Pockets is listed as Ability. This Pokémon may have up to 4 Pokémon Tools attached to it. If it loses this Ability, discard Pokémon Tools from it until only 1 remains. The attack Fearsome Shadow lists 130 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. Your opponent reveals their hand. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Honchkrow (#430) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Honchkrow 10/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). That card is named Honchkrow, while this one is Honchkrow V. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 200 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Kazuyuki Kano illustrated that card, and PLANETA Mochizuki illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Honchkrow list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Mochizuki. I count 131 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Brilliant Stars set binder is where a full Brilliant Stars set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Honchkrow can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
