Zacian SWSH033/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Zacian is Pokédex #888, generation 8 (Galar). Zacian is a Basic Metal Pokémon with 130 HP.

Zacian sits at SWSH033/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 33 of 304. Before it is SWSH032 Snorlax, and after it is SWSH034 Zamazenta. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Crunch lists 60 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, discard an Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon. Metal Blade is another attack lists 190 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Metal, Colorless. Discard 3 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon." The regulation mark is D.

Zacian (#888) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zacian V SWSH018/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Zacian V, while this one is Zacian. That card lists 220 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 23 other cards of Zacian list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zacian can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
