Lapras SWSH051/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Lapras is Pokédex #131, generation 1 (Kanto). Lapras is a Basic Water Pokémon with 130 HP.

Lapras sits at SWSH051/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 51 of 304. Before it is SWSH050 Charizard V, and after it is SWSH052 Gengar. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Aqua Wash lists 70 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Water, Water. You may put 2 Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon into their hand. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "A smart and kindhearted Pokémon, it glides across the surface of the sea while its beautiful song echoes around it." The regulation mark is D.

Lapras (#131) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 36 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lapras 10/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Megumi Higuchi illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 42 other cards of Lapras list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Megumi Higuchi. I count 17 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lapras can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Lapras cards. I still need this card.
