Probopass 55/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on August 3, 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Probopass is 55/114, in position 55 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 54 Nosepass, and after it is 56 Anorith. The listed rarity is Rare.

Probopass is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Probopass (#476), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Nosepass. In this catalog that name is Nosepass (#299).

MAHOU illustrated this card. The same name is on 122 other cards in the catalog.

Probopass (#476) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Probopass G DP43/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Probopass G, while this one is Probopass. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Ryota Saito illustrated that card, and MAHOU illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 4. 17 other cards of Probopass list a different HP.

The attack Bounce Back lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting. Your opponent switches his or her Active Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon. Rock Tomb is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "It freely controls three small units called Mini-Noses using magnetic force."

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Probopass can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
