Yanmega BREAK 8/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on August 3, 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Yanmega BREAK is 8/114, in position 8 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 7 Yanmega, and after it is 9 Seedot. The listed rarity is Rare BREAK.

Yanmega BREAK is a BREAK Grass Pokémon with 140 HP. In the Pokédex this is Yanmega (#469), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Yanmega. In this catalog that name is Yanmega (#469).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Yanmega (#469) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Yanmega 17/146 in Legends Awakened (2008). That card is named Yanmega, while this one is Yanmega BREAK. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare BREAK. Kent Kanetsuna illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Yanmega list a different HP.

The attack Barrier Break lists 100 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, or any other effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon. The card text says: BREAK Evolution Rule: Yanmega BREAK retains the attacks, Abilities, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat Cost of its previous Evolution.

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yanmega can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
