Talonflame 96/114 · Steam Siege

Talonflame is Pokédex #663, generation 6 (Kalos). Talonflame is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Fletchinder. In this catalog that name is Fletchinder (#662).

Talonflame sits at 96/114 in Steam Siege, position 96 of 116. Before it is 95 Fletchinder, and after it is 97 Hawlucha. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on August 3, 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Gale Wings is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is in your hand when you are setting up to play, you may put it face down as your Active Pokémon. The attack Aero Blitz lists 40 damage. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 2 cards and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. The flavor text reads "When attacking prey, it can reach speeds of up to 310 mph. It finishes its prey off with a colossal kick."

Talonflame (#663) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Talonflame 28/146 in XY (2014). Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Talonflame list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Steam Siege set binder is where a full Steam Siege set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Talonflame can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
