M Pidgeot-EX 105/108 · Evolutions

Pidgeot is Pokédex #018, generation 1 (Kanto). M Pidgeot-EX is a MEGA EX Colorless Pokémon with 220 HP. The card says it evolves from Pidgeot-EX. In this catalog that name is Pidgeot (#018).

M Pidgeot-EX sits at 105/108 in Evolutions, position 105 of 113. Before it is 104 Pidgeot-EX, and after it is 106 Dragonite-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on November 2, 2016. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 113 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Mach Cyclone lists 130 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. You may have your opponent switch his or her Active Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. The card text says: Mega Evolution rule: When 1 of your Pokémon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokémon, your turn ends. Pidgeot (#018) has 25 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2024. The earliest other card is Pidgeot 8/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Pidgeot, while this one is M Pidgeot-EX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 24 other cards of Pidgeot list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Evolutions set binder is where a full Evolutions set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pidgeot can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
