Toxicroak-EX 102/106 · Flashfire

Toxicroak is Pokédex #454, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Toxicroak-EX is a Basic EX Psychic Pokémon with 170 HP.

Toxicroak-EX sits at 102/106 in Flashfire, position 103 of 110. Before it is 101 Magnezone-EX, and after it is 103 Kangaskhan-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on May 7, 2014. The printed size is 106. This checklist is longer, at 110 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Triple Poison lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Poisoned. Put 3 damage counters instead of 1 on that Pokémon between turns. Smash Uppercut is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Toxicroak (#454) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Toxicroak G DP41/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Toxicroak G, while this one is Toxicroak-EX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Ryota Saito illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 19 other cards of Toxicroak list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Flashfire set binder is where a full Flashfire set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Toxicroak can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
