Diggersby 90/160 · Primal Clash

Primal Clash is a set in the XY series. It was released on February 4, 2015. The printed size is 160. This checklist is longer, at 164 cards. Diggersby is 90/160, in position 90 of 164 on this checklist. Before it is 89 Drilbur, and after it is 91 Sharpedo-EX. The listed rarity is Rare.

Diggersby is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Diggersby (#660), generation 6 (Kalos). The card says it evolves from Bunnelby. In this catalog that name is Bunnelby (#659).

Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this card. The same name is on 174 other cards in the catalog.

Diggersby (#660) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Diggersby 112/146 in XY (2014). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 9 other cards of Diggersby list a different HP.

The attack Ear Dig lists no damage number. The cost is Fighting. Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard the top card of your opponent's deck. Hammer In is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "As powerful as an excavator, its ears can reduce dense bedrock to rubble. When it's finished digging, it lounges lazily."

I keep a set binder for Primal Clash, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Primal Clash set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Diggersby can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
