M Gallade-EX 35/108 · Roaring Skies

Roaring Skies is a set in the XY series. It was released on May 6, 2015. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 112 cards. M Gallade-EX is 35/108, in position 35 of 112 on this checklist. Before it is 34 Gallade-EX, and after it is 36 Gligar. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

M Gallade-EX is a MEGA EX Psychic Pokémon with 220 HP. In the Pokédex this is Gallade (#475), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Gallade-EX. In this catalog that name is Gallade (#475).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Gallade (#475) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gallade 6/132 in Secret Wonders (2007). That card is named Gallade, while this one is M Gallade-EX. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Daisuke Ito illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Gallade list a different HP.

The attack Unwavering Blade lists 110 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon that has any damage counters on it. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Mega Evolution rule: When 1 of your Pokémon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokémon, your turn ends. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Roaring Skies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Roaring Skies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gallade can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, and Gallade. I still need this card.
