Lapras 28/122 · BREAKpoint

Lapras is Pokédex #131, generation 1 (Kanto). Lapras is a Basic Water Pokémon with 120 HP.

Lapras sits at 28/122 in BREAKpoint, position 28 of 126. Before it is 27 M Gyarados-EX, and after it is 29 Corsola. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on February 3, 2016. The printed size is 122. This checklist is longer, at 126 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Errand-Running lists no damage number. The cost is Water. Search your deck for a Trainer card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Water Splash is another attack lists 80+ damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its high intelligence enables it to understand human speech. It likes to ferry people on its back."

Lapras (#131) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 36 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lapras 10/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and kirisAki illustrated this one. 43 other cards of Lapras list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kirisAki. I count 189 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BREAKpoint set binder is where a full BREAKpoint set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lapras can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
