Kricketune 6/122 · BREAKpoint

Kricketune is Pokédex #402, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Kricketune is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Kricketot. In this catalog that name is Kricketot (#401).

Kricketune sits at 6/122 in BREAKpoint, position 6 of 126. Before it is 5 Kricketot, and after it is 7 Petilil. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on February 3, 2016. The printed size is 122. This checklist is longer, at 126 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Screech lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. During your next turn, any damage done to the Defending Pokémon by attacks is increased by 60 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Slash is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Grass. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It signals its emotions with its melodies. Scientists are studying these melodic patterns."

Kricketune (#402) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Kricketune 27/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 6 other cards of Kricketune list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Suwama Chiaki. I count 102 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BREAKpoint set binder is where a full BREAKpoint set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kricketune can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
