Xerneas XY31/211 · XY Black Star Promos

Xerneas is Pokédex #716, generation 6 (Kalos). Xerneas is a Basic Fairy Pokémon with 130 HP.

Xerneas sits at XY31/211 in XY Black Star Promos, position 31 of 216. Before it is XY30 Blastoise-EX, and after it is XY32 Yveltal. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on October 12, 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Aurora Gain lists 50 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon has no weakness. Light of Life is another attack lists 80+ damage. The cost is Fairy, Fairy, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent has Yveltal (including Yveltal-EX) in play, this attack does 40 more damage. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Legends say it can share eternal life. It slept for a thousand years in the form of a tree before its revival."

Xerneas (#716) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Xerneas XY05/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). Both list 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Xerneas list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

XY Black Star Promos set binder is where a full XY Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Xerneas can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
