Zapdos 19/110 · Legendary Collection

Legendary Collection is a set in the Other series. It was released on 24 May 2002. The printed size is 110, and the checklist is the same length. Zapdos is 19/110, in position 19 of 110 on this checklist. Before it is 18 Venusaur, and after it is 20 Beedrill. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Zapdos is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 64. In the Pokédex this is Zapdos (#145), generation 1 (Kanto).

Ken Sugimori illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,112 other cards in the catalog.

Zapdos (#145) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 34 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zapdos 16/102 in Base (1999). Both list 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 46 other cards of Zapdos list a different HP.

The attack Thunder lists 60 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Flip a coin. If tails, Zapdos does 30 damage to itself. Thunderbolt is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Lightning, Lightning. Discard all Energy cards attached to Zapdos or this attack does nothing. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "A legendary bird Pokémon said to appear from clouds while wielding enormous lightning bolts."

I keep a set binder for Legendary Collection, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Collection set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zapdos can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
