Jynx 26/110 · Legendary Collection

Legendary Collection is a set in the Other series. It was released on 24 May 2002. The printed size is 110, and the checklist is the same length. Jynx is 26/110, in position 26 of 110 on this checklist. Before it is 25 Hypno, and after it is 27 Kabutops. The listed rarity is Rare.

Jynx is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 23. In the Pokédex this is Jynx (#124), generation 1 (Kanto).

Ken Sugimori illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,112 other cards in the catalog.

Jynx (#124) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jynx 31/102 in Base (1999). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. 19 other cards of Jynx list a different HP.

The attack Doubleslap lists 10× damage. The cost is Psychic. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads. Meditate is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Merely by meditating, the Pokémon launches a powerful psychic energy attack."

I keep a set binder for Legendary Collection, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Collection set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jynx can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
