Meloetta-EX RC11/113 · Legendary Treasures

Meloetta is Pokédex #648, generation 5 (Unova). Meloetta-EX is a Basic EX Psychic Pokémon with 110 HP.

Meloetta-EX sits at RC11/113 in Legendary Treasures, position 126 of 140. Before it is RC10 Gardevoir, and after it is RC12 Stunfisk. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on 6 November 2013. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 140 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Brilliant Voice lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. If tails, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Round is another attack lists 30× damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Psychic. Does 30 damage times the number of your Pokémon that have the Round attack. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Meloetta (#648) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Meloetta BW68/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card is named Meloetta, while this one is Meloetta-EX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Naoki Saito illustrated that card, and Eske Yoshinob illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Meloetta list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Eske Yoshinob. I count 177 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Legendary Treasures set binder is where a full Legendary Treasures set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Meloetta can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
