Plusle 39/108 · Dark Explorers

Plusle is Pokédex #311, generation 3 (Hoenn). Plusle is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP.

Plusle sits at 39/108 in Dark Explorers, position 39 of 111. Before it is 38 Raikou-EX, and after it is 40 Minun. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on 9 May 2012. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Tag Draw lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then, draw 4 cards. If Minun is on your Bench, draw 4 more cards. Positive Ion is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Lightning. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles."

Plusle (#311) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Plusle 8/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Common. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Naoki Saito illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Plusle list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Naoki Saito. I count 270 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dark Explorers set binder is where a full Dark Explorers set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Plusle can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
