Shedinja 48/124 · Dragons Exalted

Dragons Exalted is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on 15 August 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. Shedinja is 48/124, in position 48 of 128 on this checklist. Before it is 47 Dustox, and after it is 49 Drifloon. The listed rarity is Rare.

Shedinja is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Shedinja (#292), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Nincada. In this catalog that name is Nincada (#290).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Shedinja (#292) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Shedinja 11/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Shedinja list a different HP.

Empty Shell is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is Knocked Out, your opponent can't take any Prize cards for it. The attack Cursed Drop lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Put 3 damage counters on your opponent's Pokémon in any way you like. The flavor text reads "A discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit."

I keep a set binder for Dragons Exalted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragons Exalted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shedinja can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
