Yanmega 5/124 · Dragons Exalted

Yanmega is Pokédex #469, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Yanmega is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Yanma. In this catalog that name is Yanma (#193).

Yanmega sits at 5/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 5 of 128. Before it is 4 Yanma, and after it is 6 Wurmple. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on 15 August 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Agility lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokémon during your opponent's next turn. Cutting Wind is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. The flavor text reads "Its jaw power is incredible. It is adept at biting apart foes while flying by at high speed."

Yanmega (#469) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Yanmega 17/146 in Legends Awakened (2008). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kent Kanetsuna illustrated that card, and Naoki Saito illustrated this one. 18 other cards of Yanmega list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Naoki Saito. I count 270 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yanmega can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
