Team Aqua's Kyogre-EX 6/34 · Double Crisis

Kyogre is Pokédex #382, generation 3 (Hoenn). Team Aqua's Kyogre-EX is a Basic EX Water Pokémon with 190 HP.

Team Aqua's Kyogre-EX sits at 6/34 in Double Crisis, position 6 of 34. Before it is 5 Team Aqua's Walrein, and after it is 7 Team Aqua's Grimer. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 25 March 2015. The printed size is 34, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Power Saver is listed as Ability. If there are 4 or fewer Team Aqua Pokémon in play, this Pokémon can't attack. The attack Aqua Impact lists 80+ damage. The cost is Water, Water, Water, Colorless. This attack does 20 more damage for each Colorless in your opponent's Active Pokémon's Retreat Cost. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Kyogre (#382) has 32 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Kyogre ex 1/40 in Nintendo Black Star Promos (2003). That card is named Kyogre ex, while this one is Team Aqua's Kyogre-EX. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 190 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Hiromichi Sugiyama illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 4. 32 other cards of Kyogre list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Double Crisis set binder is where a full Double Crisis set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kyogre can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Team Aqua and Team Magma, and Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. I still need this card.
