Team Aqua's Seviper 9/34 · Double Crisis

Double Crisis is a set in the XY series. It was released on 25 March 2015. The printed size is 34, and the checklist is the same length. Team Aqua's Seviper is 9/34, in position 9 of 34 on this checklist. Before it is 8 Team Aqua's Muk, and after it is 10 Team Magma's Baltoy. The listed rarity is Common.

Team Aqua's Seviper is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Seviper (#336), generation 3 (Hoenn).

Naoki Saito illustrated this card. The same name is on 270 other cards in the catalog.

Seviper (#336) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Seviper 11/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card is named Seviper, while this one is Team Aqua's Seviper. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Common. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Naoki Saito illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 15 other cards of Seviper list a different HP.

The attack Venomous Fang lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Poisoned. Venom Tail is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is affected by a Special Condition, discard an Energy attached to that Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Seviper's tail is a sharp blade. It can even poison you!"

I keep a set binder for Double Crisis, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Double Crisis set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Seviper can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon and Team Aqua and Team Magma. I still need this card.
