Azurill 69/130 · Diamond & Pearl

Azurill is Pokédex #298, generation 3 (Hoenn). Azurill is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 40 HP. The card lists level 6. The card lists Marill, Marill (#183) under evolves to.

Azurill sits at 69/130 in Diamond & Pearl, position 69 of 130. Before it is 68 Unown [D], and after it is 70 Bidoof. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2007. The printed size is 130, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Common.

Baby Evolution is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Marill from your hand onto Azurill (this counts a evolving Azurill) and remove all damage counters from Azurill. The attack Delivery lists no damage number. Put any 1 card from your discard pile into your hand. Weakness is Fighting +10. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "A Pokémon that lives by water. It moves quickly on land by bouncing on its big tail."

Azurill (#298) has 3 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 3 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2019. The earliest other card is Azurill 31/100 in Sandstorm (2003). Both list 40 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Common. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Azurill list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Diamond & Pearl set binder is where a full Diamond & Pearl set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Azurill can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Baby Pokémon. I still need this card.
