Duskull 80/130 · Diamond & Pearl

Diamond & Pearl is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2007. The printed size is 130, and the checklist is the same length. Duskull is 80/130, in position 80 of 130 on this checklist. Before it is 79 Combee, and after it is 81 Electabuzz. The listed rarity is Common.

Duskull is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists level 15. In the Pokédex this is Duskull (#355), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card lists Dusclops, Dusclops (#356) under evolves to.

Atsuko Nishida illustrated this card. The same name is on 408 other cards in the catalog.

Duskull (#355) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Duskull 61/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 50 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Duskull list a different HP.

The attack Disable lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. That Pokémon can't use that attack during your opponent's next turn. Night Shade is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Darkness +10. Resistance is Colorless -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It doggedly pursues its prey wherever it goes. However, the chase is abandoned at sunrise."

I keep a set binder for Diamond & Pearl, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Diamond & Pearl set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Duskull can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Atsuko Nishida cards, early series. I still need this card.
