Golbat 50/123 · Mysterious Treasures

Mysterious Treasures is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 August 2007. The printed size is 123. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. Golbat is 50/123, in position 50 of 124 on this checklist. Before it is 49 Girafarig, and after it is 51 Graveler. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Golbat is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 22. In the Pokédex this is Golbat (#042), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Zubat. In this catalog that name is Zubat (#041). The card lists Crobat, Crobat (#169) under evolves to.

Kazuyuki Kano illustrated this card. The same name is on 26 other cards in the catalog.

Golbat (#042) has 24 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Golbat 34/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Kazuyuki Kano illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Golbat list a different HP.

The attack Pulse Search lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic. Look at your opponent's hand. Weakness is Psychic +20. Resistance is Fighting -20. The flavor text reads "It loves the blood of humans and Pokémon. It flies around at night in search of neck veins."

I keep a set binder for Mysterious Treasures, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Mysterious Treasures set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Golbat can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
