Gallade 6/132 · Secret Wonders

Secret Wonders is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 November 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. Gallade is 6/132, in position 6 of 132 on this checklist. Before it is 5 Flygon, and after it is 7 Gardevoir. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Gallade is a Stage 2 Fighting Pokémon with 130 HP. The card lists level 55. In the Pokédex this is Gallade (#475), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Kirlia. In this catalog that name is Kirlia (#281).

Daisuke Ito illustrated this card. The same name is on 47 other cards in the catalog.

Gallade (#475) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gallade 2/17 in POP Series 7 (2008). Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. 18 other cards of Gallade list a different HP.

The attack Sonic Blade lists no damage number. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Put damage counters on the Defending Pokémon until it is 50 HP away from being Knocked Out. If you do, your opponent switches the Defending Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon. Psychic Cut is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. You may choose as many of your face-down Prize cards as you like and put them face up. If you do, this attack does 60 damage plus 20 more damage for each Prize card you chose. (These cards remain face up for the rest of the game.) Weakness is Psychic +30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "A master of courtesy and swordsmanship, it fights using extending swords on its elbows."

I keep a set binder for Secret Wonders, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Secret Wonders set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gallade can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
