Plusle 28/100 · Majestic Dawn

Majestic Dawn is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. Plusle is 28/100, in position 28 of 100 on this checklist. Before it is 27 Phione, and after it is 29 Scizor. The listed rarity is Rare.

Plusle is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 27. In the Pokédex this is Plusle (#311), generation 3 (Hoenn).

Suwama Chiaki illustrated this card. The same name is on 102 other cards in the catalog.

Plusle (#311) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Plusle 8/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Plusle list a different HP.

The attack Call for Family lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a Basic Pokémon and put it onto your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward. – Boost is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. If Minun is on your Bench, this attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage. Weakness is Fighting +10. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles."

I keep a set binder for Majestic Dawn, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Majestic Dawn set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Plusle can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
