Leafeon LV.X 99/100 · Majestic Dawn

Majestic Dawn is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. Leafeon LV.X is 99/100, in position 99 of 100 on this checklist. Before it is 98 Glaceon LV.X, and after it is 100 Porygon-Z LV.X. The listed rarity is Rare Holo LV.X.

Leafeon LV.X is a Level-Up Grass Pokémon with 110 HP. The card lists level X. In the Pokédex this is Leafeon (#470), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Leafeon. In this catalog that name is Leafeon (#470).

Ryo Ueda illustrated this card. The same name is on 462 other cards in the catalog.

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 7/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). That card is named Leafeon, while this one is Leafeon LV.X. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo LV.X. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. 30 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

Energy Forcing is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach an Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Leafeon is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Verdant Dance lists 30+ damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. Weakness is Fire +30. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Leafeon. Leafeon LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

I keep a set binder for Majestic Dawn, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Majestic Dawn set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions and Pokémon LV.X. I still need this card.
