Pachirisu DP04/56 · DP Black Star Promos

Pachirisu is Pokédex #417, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Pachirisu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 23.

Pachirisu sits at DP04/56 in DP Black Star Promos, position 4 of 56. Before it is DP03 Piplup, and after it is DP05 Tropical Wind. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2007. The printed size is 56, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Minor Errand-Running lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a basic Energy card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Thunder Jolt is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Lightning. Flip a coin. If tails, Pachirisu does 10 damage to itself. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It makes fur balls that crackle with static electricity. It stores them with berries in tree holes."

Pachirisu (#417) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Pachirisu 35/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Pachirisu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Atsuko Nishida. I count 408 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

DP Black Star Promos set binder is where a full DP Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pachirisu can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
