Shinx DP15/56 · DP Black Star Promos

Shinx is Pokédex #403, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Shinx is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 7. The card lists Luxio, Luxio (#404) under evolves to.

Shinx sits at DP15/56 in DP Black Star Promos, position 15 of 56. Before it is DP14 Chatot, and after it is DP16 Pikachu. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2007. The printed size is 56, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Spark lists 10 damage. The cost is Lightning. Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting +10. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "All of its fur dazzles if danger is sensed. It flees while the foe is momentarily blinded."

Shinx (#403) has 24 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Shinx 98/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Shinx list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

DP Black Star Promos set binder is where a full DP Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shinx can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
