Crobat 147/144 · Skyridge

Crobat is Pokédex #169, generation 2 (Johto). Crobat is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Golbat. In this catalog that name is Golbat (#042).

Crobat sits at 147/144 in Skyridge, position 147 of 182. Before it is 146 Charizard, and after it is 148 Golem. The set belongs to the E-Card series. It was released on 12 May 2003. The printed size is 144. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 144. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Crystal Type is listed as Poké-Body. Whenever you attach a Grass, Fire, or Psychic basic Energy card from your hand to Crobat, Crobat's type (color) becomes the same as that type of Energy until the end of the turn. The attack Poison Flame lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass, Fire, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Burned and Poisoned. Squared Attack is another attack lists 20× damage. The cost is Grass, Psychic, Psychic. Flip 4 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Psychic ×2.

Crobat (#169) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Crobat 4/64 in Neo Revelation (2001). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Secret. Shin-ichi Yoshida illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 35 other cards of Crobat list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Atsuko Nishida. I count 408 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Skyridge set binder is where a full Skyridge set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Crobat can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
