Pinsir δ 9/101 · Dragon Frontiers

Pinsir is Pokédex #127, generation 1 (Kanto). Pinsir δ is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 60 HP.

Pinsir δ sits at 9/101 in Dragon Frontiers, position 9 of 101. Before it is 8 Ninetales δ, and after it is 10 Snorlax δ. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on 1 November 2006. The printed size is 101, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Armor is listed as Poké-Body. If your opponent has 5 of more cards in his or her hand, any damage done to Pinsir by attacks is reduced by 30 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Delta Call lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a Pokémon that has δ on its card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Guillotine is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Pinsir (#127) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Pinsir 9/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Pinsir, while this one is Pinsir δ. Both list 60 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Yukiko Baba illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Pinsir list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Yukiko Baba. I count 151 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragon Frontiers set binder is where a full Dragon Frontiers set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pinsir can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards. I still need this card.
