Erika's Victreebel 26/132 · Gym Heroes

Victreebel is Pokédex #071, generation 1 (Kanto). Erika's Victreebel is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 37. The card says it evolves from Erika's Weepinbell. In this catalog that name is Weepinbell (#070).

Erika's Victreebel sits at 26/132 in Gym Heroes, position 26 of 132. Before it is 25 Erika's Clefairy, and after it is 27 Lt. Surge's Electabuzz. The set belongs to the Gym series. It was released on 14 August 2000. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Fragrance Trap is listed as Pokémon Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, and if your opponent has any Benched Pokémon, choose 1 of them and switch it with his or her Active Pokémon. This power can't be used if Erika's Victreebel is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. The attack Razor Leaf lists 50 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Grass. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2.

Victreebel (#071) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Victreebel 14/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Victreebel, while this one is Erika's Victreebel. Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. 13 other cards of Victreebel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Gym Heroes set binder is where a full Gym Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Victreebel can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Kanto Gym Leaders and their Pokémon, and Erika and her Pokémon. I still need this card.
