Rocket's Snorlax 33/132 · Gym Heroes

Snorlax is Pokédex #143, generation 1 (Kanto). Rocket's Snorlax is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 40.

Rocket's Snorlax sits at 33/132 in Gym Heroes, position 33 of 132. Before it is 32 Misty's Tentacool, and after it is 34 Sabrina's Venomoth. The set belongs to the Gym series. It was released on 14 August 2000. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Restless Sleep is listed as Pokémon Power. If your opponent's attack does damage to Rocket's Snorlax and Rocket's Snorlax is already Asleep (even if it's Knocked Out), this power does 20 damage to the attacking Pokémon. The attack Collapse lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Rocket's Snorlax is now Asleep (after doing damage). Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -30. Retreat cost is 4.

Snorlax (#143) has 55 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 42 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Snorlax 11/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Snorlax, while this one is Rocket's Snorlax. Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shin-ichi Yoshida illustrated this one. 49 other cards of Snorlax list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin-ichi Yoshida. I count 50 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Gym Heroes set binder is where a full Gym Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Snorlax can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Snorlax and Munchlax, Trainer's Pokémon, and Team Rocket cards. I still need this card.
