Porygon-Z 7/102 · HS—Triumphant

Porygon-Z is Pokédex #474, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Porygon-Z is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Porygon2. In this catalog that name is Porygon2 (#233).

Porygon-Z sits at 7/102 in HS—Triumphant, position 7 of 103. Before it is 6 Nidoking, and after it is 8 Rapidash. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on 3 November 2010. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Dimension Transfer is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, search your discard pile for a Trainer card, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck. This power can't be used if Porygon-Z is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Suspicious Beam β lists 80 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. If Porygon-Z has no Rainbow Energy attached to it, Porygon-Z does 20 damage to itself and Porygon-Z is now Confused. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its programming was modified to enable it to travel through alien dimensions. Seems there might have been an error…"

Porygon-Z (#474) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Porygon-Z DP35/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Porygon-Z list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HS—Triumphant set binder is where a full HS—Triumphant set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Porygon-Z can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
