McDonald's Collection 2019 is a set in the Other series. It was released on 15 October 2019. The printed size is 12, and the checklist is the same length. Caterpie is 1/12, in position 1 of 12 on this checklist. The next card is 2 Alolan Exeggutor.
Caterpie is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 50 HP. In the Pokédex this is Caterpie (#010), generation 1 (Kanto). The card lists Metapod, Metapod (#011) under evolves to.
Sekio illustrated this card. The same name is on 72 other cards in the catalog.
Caterpie (#010) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Caterpie 45/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 50 HP. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Sekio illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Caterpie list a different HP.
The attack Surprise Attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When attacked by bird Pokémon, it resists by releasing a terrifically strong odor from its antennae, but it often becomes their prey."
I keep a set binder for McDonald's Collection 2019, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the McDonald's Collection 2019 set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Caterpie can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
