Hitmontop 102/217 · Ascended Heroes

Hitmontop is Pokédex #237, generation 2 (Johto). Hitmontop is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP.

Hitmontop sits at 102/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 102 of 295. Before it is 101 Team Rocket's Dugtrio, and after it is 103 Meditite. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on 30 January 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Spin and Draw lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then, draw 6 cards. Low Kick is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It spins on its horn while dealing out elegant kicks. Its horn grows continuously through its lifetime." The regulation mark is J.

Hitmontop (#237) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Hitmontop 37/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Common. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 12 other cards of Hitmontop list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hitmontop can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
