Team Rocket's Murkrow 126/217 · Ascended Heroes

Murkrow is Pokédex #198, generation 2 (Johto). Team Rocket's Murkrow is a Basic Darkness Pokémon with 80 HP.

Team Rocket's Murkrow sits at 126/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 126 of 295. Before it is 125 Mega Gengar ex, and after it is 127 Team Rocket's Honchkrow. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on 30 January 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Deceit lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a Supporter card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. Torment is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Active Pokémon's attacks. During your opponent's next turn, that Pokémon can't use that attack. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Feared and loathed by many, it is believed to bring misfortune to all those who see it at night." The regulation mark is I.

Murkrow (#198) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2026. The earliest other card is Murkrow 24/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card is named Murkrow, while this one is Team Rocket's Murkrow. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Common. Shin-ichi Yoshida illustrated that card, and Mugi Hamada illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Murkrow list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mugi Hamada. I count 6 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Murkrow can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Team Rocket cards, Bird Pokémon, and Night and moon Pokémon. I still need this card.
