Unown [H] 28/105 · Neo Destiny

Unown is Pokédex #201, generation 2 (Johto). Unown [H] is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 40 HP. The card lists level 16.

Unown [H] sits at 28/105 in Neo Destiny, position 28 of 113. Before it is 27 Unown [G], and after it is 29 Unown [W]. The set belongs to the Neo series. It was released on 28 February 2002. The printed size is 105. This checklist is longer, at 113 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

[Help] is listed as Pokémon Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), if you have Unown [H], Unown [E], Unown [L], and Unown [P] on your Bench, you may shuffle your hand into your deck, then draw a new hand of the same number of cards. The attack Hidden Power lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: You may have up to 4 Basic Pokémon cards in your deck with Unown in their names. The flavor text reads "It is believed that the variety of types of this Pokémon were created by evolutionary adaptation, as each possesses a different ability."

Unown (#201) has 95 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Unown [J] 38/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Unown [J], while this one is Unown [H]. Both list 40 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Hideki Kazama illustrated that card, and CR CG gangs illustrated this one. 74 other cards of Unown list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads CR CG gangs. I count 26 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Neo Destiny set binder is where a full Neo Destiny set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Unown can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Unown. I still need this card.
