Rising Rivals is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on 16 May 2009. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 120 cards. Sunyshore City Gym is 94/111, in position 94 of 120 on this checklist. Before it is 93 Pokémon Contest Hall, and after it is 95 Team Galactic's Invention G-107 Technical Machine G. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Sunyshore City Gym is a Trainer card. The listed subtypes are Stadium.

Yusuke Ishikawa illustrated this card. The same name is on 14 other cards in the catalog.

The card text says: This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. The card text says: Any damage done by attacks from Lightning Pokémon (both yours and your opponent's) to the Defending Pokémon isn't affected by Resistance. Each Lightning Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent's) has no Weakness.

I keep a set binder for Rising Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Rising Rivals set binder. Themed lists that include this exact card are Stadium cards. I still need this card.
