Manectric 22/99 · Arceus

Manectric is Pokédex #310, generation 3 (Hoenn). Manectric is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 46. The card says it evolves from Electrike. In this catalog that name is Electrike (#309).

Manectric sits at 22/99 in Arceus, position 22 of 111. Before it is 21 Lopunny, and after it is 23 Omastar. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on 4 November 2009. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Second Bite lists 20+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. Swift is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Metal -20. The flavor text reads "It discharges electricity from its mane. It creates a thundercloud overhead to drop lightning bolts."

Manectric (#310) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Manectric 9/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Mana Ibe illustrated this one. 29 other cards of Manectric list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mana Ibe. I count 3 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Arceus set binder is where a full Arceus set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Manectric can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
