Wishiwashi-GX 63/236 · Cosmic Eclipse

Wishiwashi is Pokédex #746, generation 7 (Alola). Wishiwashi-GX is a Basic GX Water Pokémon with 130 HP.

Wishiwashi-GX sits at 63/236 in Cosmic Eclipse, position 63 of 272. Before it is 62 Wishiwashi, and after it is 64 Dewpider. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 1 November 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 272 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo GX.

The attack School Storm lists 20× damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage for each of your Wishiwashi and Wishiwashi-GX in play. Massive Catch-GX is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Look at the top 12 cards of your deck and put any number of Basic Pokémon you find there onto your Bench. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Wishiwashi (#746) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Wishiwashi 44/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card is named Wishiwashi, while this one is Wishiwashi-GX. That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo GX. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and sadaji illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Wishiwashi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads sadaji. I count 45 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Cosmic Eclipse set binder is where a full Cosmic Eclipse set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wishiwashi can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
