Shining Jirachi 42/73 · Shining Legends

Jirachi is Pokédex #385, generation 3 (Hoenn). Shining Jirachi is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP.

Shining Jirachi sits at 42/73 in Shining Legends, position 43 of 81. Before it is 41 Latios, and after it is 43 Golett. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 6 October 2017. The printed size is 73. This checklist is longer, at 81 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Shining.

The attack Stellar Reign lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is an evolved Pokémon, devolve it by putting all of the Evolution cards on it into your opponent's hand. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Generations have believed that any wish written on a note on its head will come true when it awakens."

Jirachi (#385) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jirachi 21/40 in Nintendo Black Star Promos (2003). That card is named Jirachi, while this one is Shining Jirachi. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Shining. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Shigenori Negishi illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Jirachi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shigenori Negishi. I count 151 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Legends set binder is where a full Shining Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jirachi can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
