Mandibuzz 93/181 · Team Up

Team Up is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 1 February 2019. The printed size is 181. This checklist is longer, at 198 cards. Mandibuzz is 93/181, in position 93 of 198 on this checklist. Before it is 92 Vullaby, and after it is 94 Pangoro. The listed rarity is Rare.

Mandibuzz is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Mandibuzz (#630), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Vullaby. In this catalog that name is Vullaby (#629).

Ayaka Yoshida illustrated this card. The same name is on 128 other cards in the catalog.

Mandibuzz (#630) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mandibuzz 73/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Ayaka Yoshida illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 8 other cards of Mandibuzz list a different HP.

The attack Trash Crash lists no damage number. The cost is Darkness. Discard an Item card from your hand. If you do, this attack does 60 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Brave Bird is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. This Pokémon does 30 damage to itself. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It circles in the sky, keeping a keen eye out for Pokémon in a weakened state. Its choicest food is Cubone."

I keep a set binder for Team Up, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Team Up set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mandibuzz can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
