Kartana SV33/94 · Hidden Fates Shiny Vault

Kartana is Pokédex #798, generation 7 (Alola). Kartana is a Basic Ultra Beast Metal Pokémon with 60 HP.

Kartana sits at SV33/94 in Hidden Fates Shiny Vault, position 33 of 94. Before it is SV32 Celesteela, and after it is SV34 Ralts. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 23 August 2019. The printed size is 94, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

The attack Divine Paper lists 40+ damage. The cost is Metal, Metal. If your opponent has exactly 6 Prize cards remaining, this attack does 90 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "One of the Ultra Beast life-forms, it was observed cutting down a gigantic steel tower with one stroke of its blade."

Kartana (#798) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2019. The earliest other card is Kartana-GX 70/111 in Crimson Invasion (2017). That card is named Kartana-GX, while this one is Kartana. That card lists 170 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo GX, and here it is Rare Shiny. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Anesaki Dynamic illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Kartana list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Anesaki Dynamic. I count 134 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kartana can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Ultra Beasts. I still need this card.
