Necrozma SM204/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Necrozma is Pokédex #800, generation 7 (Alola). Necrozma is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP.

Necrozma sits at SM204/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 207 of 251. Before it is SM203 Tapu Fini, and after it is SM205 Terrakion. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 3 February 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Barrier Attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Special Laser is another attack lists 100+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. If this Pokémon has any Special Energy attached to it, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It looks somehow pained as it rages around in search of light, which serves as its energy. It's apparently from another world."

Necrozma (#800) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2021. The earliest other card is Necrozma-GX SM58/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Necrozma-GX, while this one is Necrozma. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hasuno illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Necrozma list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hasuno. I count 74 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Necrozma can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
