Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX SM217/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Dusknoir is Pokédex #477, generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card also lists Trevenant (#709). Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX is a Basic TAG TEAM GX Psychic Pokémon with 270 HP.

Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX sits at SM217/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 220 of 251. Before it is SM216 Porygon-Z-GX, and after it is SM218 Buzzwole. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 3 February 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Night Watch lists 150 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Psychic. Choose 2 random cards from your opponent's hand. Your opponent reveals those cards and shuffles them into their deck. Pale Moon-GX is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. At the end of your opponent's next turn, the Defending Pokémon will be Knocked Out. If this Pokémon has at least 1 extra Psychic Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack's cost), discard all Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: TAG TEAM rule: When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Dusknoir (#477) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Dusknoir 2/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Dusknoir, while this one is Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 270 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Takabon illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Dusknoir list a different HP. Trevenant (#709) has 22 cards in the catalog.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dusknoir and Trevenant can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh) and Generation 6 binder (Kalos). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
