Marnie's Liepard 131/182 · Destined Rivals

Destined Rivals is a set in the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 30 May 2025. The printed size is 182. This checklist is longer, at 244 cards. Marnie's Liepard is 131/182, in position 131 of 244 on this checklist. Before it is 130 Marnie's Purrloin, and after it is 132 Marnie's Scraggy. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Marnie's Liepard is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Liepard (#510), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Marnie's Purrloin. In this catalog that name is Purrloin (#509).

Liepard (#510) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Liepard 67/114 in Black & White (2011). That card is named Liepard, while this one is Marnie's Liepard. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. 10 other cards of Liepard list a different HP.

The attack Pointy Claws lists 70+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is a Pokémon ex, this attack does 70 more damage. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Destined Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Destined Rivals set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Liepard can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Marnie and her Pokémon, and Cat Pokémon. I still need this card.
