Toedscruel is Pokédex #949, generation 9 (Paldea). Toedscruel ex is a Stage 1 ex Grass Pokémon with 270 HP. The card says it evolves from Toedscool. In this catalog that name is Toedscool (#948).

Toedscruel ex sits at 22/197 in Obsidian Flames, position 22 of 230. Before it is 21 Arboliva, and after it is 23 Capsakid. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 11 August 2023. The printed size is 197. This checklist is longer, at 230 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

Protective Mycelium is listed as Ability. Prevent all effects of attacks used by your opponent's Pokémon done to all of your Pokémon that have Energy attached. (Existing effects are not removed. Damage is not an effect.) The attack Colony Rush lists 80+ damage. The cost is Grass, Grass. This attack does 40 more damage for each of your Benched Pokémon that has any Grass Energy attached. Toedscruel (#949) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2025. The earliest other card is Toedscruel 26/198 in Scarlet & Violet (2023). That card is named Toedscruel, while this one is Toedscruel ex. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 270 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Double Rare. nagimiso illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Toedscruel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Obsidian Flames set binder is where a full Obsidian Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Toedscruel can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
