Kilowattrel 22/91 · Paldean Fates

Kilowattrel is Pokédex #941, generation 9 (Paldea). Kilowattrel is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Wattrel. In this catalog that name is Wattrel (#940).

Kilowattrel sits at 22/91 in Paldean Fates, position 22 of 245. Before it is 21 Lanturn, and after it is 23 Exeggcute. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 26 January 2024. The printed size is 91. This checklist is longer, at 245 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack United Thunder lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 10 damage for each Pokémon in your discard pile that has the United Wings attack to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Speed Wing is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. The flavor text reads "Kilowattrel inflates its throat sac to amplify its electricity. By riding the wind, this Pokémon can fly over 430 miles in a day." The regulation mark is G.

Kilowattrel (#941) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2025. The earliest other card is Kilowattrel 79/198 in Scarlet & Violet (2023). Both list 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and AKIRA EGAWA illustrated this one. 1 other cards of Kilowattrel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads AKIRA EGAWA. I count 83 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldean Fates set binder is where a full Paldean Fates set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kilowattrel can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Bird Pokémon. I still need this card.
